In your opinion, are dramatic guys bad to date?

I asked a similar question earlier, but I didn't the help I needed. Sorry...I know people hate it when questions are reposted, but I still need help sooo yeah. My boyfriend cries about stuff. Kinda often, too. I remember a couple years ago, during the summer, before we were friends, I saw him crying but since I didn't really know him very well, I didn't say anything. Then, we started dating last year, and he cried when the subject of losing me came up. He said he couldn't handle the subject. He says that without me, he's only half the person he should be and I make him want to be a better person and stuff. Really sweet of him to say, I know. But the thing is, he doesn't say it just sometimes. He says it a lot. And he gets so emotional about it...lol. I love him a lot, more than anything, and would never consider breaking up with him (unless there was abuse or something) but when people are overly emotional, it just annoys me a little. I mean, he totally revolves his life around me, and has for the whole time we've been dating, which, mind you, has been a long time. I think it's partly because he lacks support from his parents...they've abused him all his life. He said I fill that empty space in his life, and that I make him so happy. So I understand that maybe it's because of his past. But how can I gently bring up the subject? Thanks
